Techcyte, the anatomic and clinical pathology AI platform, in collaboration with researchers at The University of Newcastle and NSW Health Pathology, conducted a study to demonstrate the usefulness of AI-powered digital diagnostics for white blood cell evaluation.
The study concluded that “The Techcyte platform allowed remote viewing and manual analysis of digitized slides that was comparable to microscopy. The AI software produced adequate WBC differentials for normal films and had high sensitivity for blast identification in malignant films.”
