Techcyte is excited to announce that M Health Fairview, a leading academic health system, has implemented the Techcyte Fusion® Parasitology Suite (RUO).
Techcyte values M Health Fairview’s role in evaluating and advancing new technologies in laboratory medicine. The implementation supports the health system’s approach to deploying evolving workflows in a scalable way.
In response to changing parasitology volumes and workflow demands, M Health Fairview’s Infectious Diseases Diagnostic Laboratory identified an opportunity to evaluate digital pathology volumes and AI-assisted analysis as part of its laboratory workflow.
The Techcyte Fusion® Parasitology Suite is designed to support laboratories with AI-assisted identification of parasites on digitized slides, enabling a more standardized and streamlined review process. The platform integrates digital slide viewing, case management, and AI into a unified workflow.
“This implementation is a good example of how labs can meet the increasing demands in parasitology,” said Tyler Rippy, Account Executive at Techcyte. “The goal of implementing a digital workflow is to help labs achieve an efficient and consistent review process.”
A key component of the implementation was deploying both Trichrome and Wet Mount workflows on a single Pramana SpectralHT-2 whole slide imager.
Techcyte’s unified platform is designed to support both anatomic and clinical pathology workflows, enabling laboratories to build a scalable digital foundation across multiple disciplines over time.
