How Techcyte Supports DICOM

1. Browser-based viewing and annotation from whole slide scanners

Whole slide scanners output DICOM files that are automatically uploaded to Fusion via the Techcyte Connect Uploader, or a DICOM router.

  • Upload as a ZIP containing all WSI layers, overviews, labels, metadata, and thumbnails
  • Images are optimized for browser-based, ultra high-speed viewing
  • No local software installation needed—entirely web-based

Techcyte Fusion connects with DICOMweb archives to fetch archived WSI files on demand.
